The tasteful decor corresponds to a theater cafe. The service is polite, quick and discreet. Of course, special requests will be catered for, so that my cocoa "special" turned out very well. The cake was delicious too. So the café makes you want more ...
Delicious food, super friendly service & great location with beautiful, well-kept outdoor restaurants! Definitely worth a visit
Nice beer garden and friendly service. Nevertheless, the atmosphere in the beer garden is not nearly as nice as, for example, in Coba. Food and drinks are very standard, but tasty. Dare yourself a little more in the kitchen and try to offer cool homemade limos / tea / iced tea. Not a lot of work and looks like more. With the Botanica, Thies Cafe and the Asian restaurants with modern cuisine in the immediate vicinity, you unfortunately have to be measured. The intellectual audience, which is your target group depending on the location, is certainly not averse to more experimental cuisine. But it's great that you try to offer regional things. Unfortunately, the ice cream was quite runny and no longer had a good consistency. In terms of taste, however, it was good. Overall, therefore, a solid start with 3 stars with room for improvement :)
Cozy vineyard and delicious food. The portions could be a bit bigger.
Nice service, nice atmosphere. Food and cake offer, however, about sparse. - Answer to "Answer from the owner": Unfortunately, I have to stick to my assessment: If you can only choose between a farmer's breakfast (which, by the way, was very nicely arranged and tasted very good, that's why the 4 stars) and panini at 2.30 p.m. 4 p.m. no cake was available at all, I think that's a bit sparse, I'm sorry. Since there was nothing else on the table besides the drinks menu and it wasn't served, e.g. not at all apparent that there was also ice. So no offense, but then you have to brief your staff a little better. The extensive evening menu is of no use to me. And the reference to the monastery café is then no real help. - Ciao, your Ditmar
Here you can spend a very nice evening with freshly prepared dishes that taste very good in a nice atmosphere. The beer garden offers pure relaxation. Conclusion: highly recommended 👍
Finally, the Schauspielhaus Magdeburg has a gastronomy again. Matthias Kunze and Mathias Fangohr, who have been known for years for gastronomic quality and sophistication in Magdeburg, have dedicated themselves to this demanding and great task. A special highlight is that you can order your meal in the theater café before the performance or during the break, which you can then enjoy in peace after the play. However, this location is not only accessible to theater guests, but there is a separate entrance, which allows everyone to enter this great atmosphere. The theater café is not just a café, it is a café, restaurant, bar lounge and even vineyard in one. The wine list has a lot to offer. But the menu and drinks menu is also very extensive and ensures variety. It has classics and specialties such as the original Viennese veal schnitzel, vegan dumplings, the various types of farmer's breakfasts, paninis and numerous other delicacies known from the Bärios, and many other delicacies, often with different daily dishes, an absolute evergreen is the homemade Soljanka. There are also delicious, fine desserts such as baked apple rings in vanilla sauce. We had ordered an eggnog parfait as a dessert on recommendation of the house, with homemade eggnog, excellent and a real taste explosion. The theater café is also highly recommended for leisurely afternoons. Great coffee specialties and a delicious selection of cakes and pies or regional ice cream invite you to linger. There are always great events, such as an Easter brunch, trout food or menu ideas, which are inspired by the plays in the Schauspielhaus and round off the evening in the theater in style. The staff is knowledgeable, live friendly service, provide competent advice and are very personable. My tip, just have a look and enjoy. Incidentally, the Viennese veal schnitzel met my already high demands on this dish and is traditionally served with lukewarm potato / cucumber salad. Top recommendation!
